Polish President Andrzej Duda hopes that in the future Ukraine will become a full member of NATO. On the air of Polish television, he said that this would happen in a few years. Duda believes that Ukraine’s membership in NATO will benefit the Alliance.

At the same time, the Polish leader refused to name specific dates for Ukraine’s accession to NATO. According to Duda, now it is “difficult and almost impossible” to do this. The President stressed that the countries of the Alliance should have a common opinion on Ukraine. He is confident that the country’s membership will help strengthen NATO.
The admission of another, huge, one might say, European state to NATO with such a huge army and combat experience will definitely be a huge gain for NATO , Duda summed up.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba spoke about the conditions for the country’s entry into NATO, put forward in the West. The diplomat complained that the countries of Europe and the United States have not yet formulated specific requirements.
