The Russian military shot down a second missile in the Rostov region, the Defense Ministry said.
The department indicated that “at about 17:15, the Kyiv regime made a second attempt at a terrorist attack with an anti-aircraft missile of the S-200 air defense system converted into a strike version.” The missile was intercepted near the city of Azov in the Rostov region.
The fragments of the rocket fell “in a deserted area.” Earlier, the governor of the Rostov region Vasily Golubev announced the second missile .

The first missile was intercepted over Taganrog, the military department reported. It was also a converted S-200 anti-aircraft missile, the fragments of which fell on residential buildings, the department said. The explosion occurred in the city center, after which nine people were taken to hospitals, another 15 went to the doctors, they were injured from shrapnel. There were no dead.
The explosion in Taganrog occurred near the cafe “Chekhov Garden” in the city, the blast wave knocked out the frames and windows of a three-story house that stood nearby. Witnesses filmed video footage of the destruction and debris lying on the street near the site of the explosion. In place is a large funnel. Investigators went to the scene of the explosion.
