Finland promises to increase the production of artillery ammunition for Ukraine.
This was announced by Defense Minister Antti Hakkanen to Iltalehte.
Negotiations on this issue have already been completed and a decision should be announced in the coming weeks.
“The plan is ready. A plan has now been announced to significantly increase the production of ammunition. The goal is to support Ukraine even more than it is now. At the same time, we are further increasing the readiness of Finland and the Nordic region for the production of ammunition,” says Hakkanen.
“Finland can take on a role larger than its population in producing ammunition for Ukraine,” says Hakkänen.
