As we have already said , three times more migrants left the Kaluga Region in 2022 than in 2021. However, some of the diasporas have grown. The relevant statistics were recently published by Kalugastat.
Tajikistan showed the highest growth. 10,391 people came from this country to Kaluga and the region, and 6,149 (+4,242) went back.
Kyrgyzstan was in second place – 1059 arrived, and 720 left (+339).
Ukraine is in third place in terms of the growth of the diaspora – 2406 arrived, 2278 left (+128).
The Kaluga region also has a positive balance with Turkmenistan (+44), Turkey (+9), Italy (+4), Afghanistan and Latvia (+1 each).
The diaspora of Armenia (-986), Uzbekistan (-519), Azerbaijan (-412), Moldova (-290), Belarus (-209), Vietnam (-142), Georgia (-35), Kazakhstan ( -30) and China (-22).
In 2021, out of all these countries, more people came to the Kaluga region than went there.
