On Thursday, July 27, at 12:00, the Russian army shelled Avdiivka, Donetsk region, most likely with artillery. Anastasia Medvedeva, the press secretary of the prosecutor’s office of the Donetsk region, told about this , Suspilne reports.
According to her, one local resident was killed and two others were injured.
“The Russian military hit a two-story house, as a result of which a 47-year-old local resident died. Two men aged 49 and 64 also received shrapnel wounds. They were taken to the hospital in serious condition,” Medvedev said.
On this fact, the prosecutor’s office began a pre-trial investigation under Part 2 of Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, namely, violation of the laws and customs of war.
On the morning of July 27, Russian troops fired on Avdiyivka with Grads and artillery, and fired two missiles at the Avdiyivka Coke Plant. On July 25 , a 69-year-old man was killed
and an 83-year-old woman was wounded as a result of the shelling of Avdiivka, Donetsk region .
