Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny said that he had a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley , during which they discussed the supply of weapons and ammunition to Kiev , strengthening the air defense (air defense) of the Ukrainian state. This was reported in his Telegram channel.

According to the commander-in-chief, he also informed the American general about the operational situation at the front.

This week, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell criticized EU countries for not delivering ammunition to Kiev quickly enough.

Earlier, US Permanent Representative to  the UN Linda Thomas-Greenfield said that the United States does not believe that its arms supplies to Kiev are leading to a prolongation of the conflict in  Ukraine .

Previously, former US President Donald Trump said that Washington was sending too many weapons to Ukraine.

Earlier, a Ukrainian Armed Forces fighter stated that he did not understand the causes of the conflict in Ukraine.
