Three teens were arrested after police say they tackled a 72-year-old woman to the ground and stole her car in Bethesda, Maryland, overnight Tuesday. The woman was walking to her car, a 2023 Honda Fit, before 1 a.m. in the 7700 block of Woodmont Avenue in downtown Bethesda, when two suspects tackled her, Montgomery County police said. Once the suspects got her keys and personal property, they drove off in her car, police said. Officers later found the car at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Seminary Road. Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said Wednesday that he believes a new lease agreement with the Baltimore Orioles at Camden Yards is “imminent,” as an end-of-the year deadline approaches. FBI investigators are planning to exhume the body of a young woman whose unsolved 1969 killing has been a source of widespread speculation, especially since Netflix’s documentary series “The Keepers” examined the slaying of a Baltimore nun that unfolded days earlier under eerily similar circumstances. Joyce Malecki went Christmas shopping in November 1969 at a suburban mall outside Baltimore and never came home. Her body was found on a nearby military base days later and an autopsy determined she had been strangled. The Prince William County Board of Supervisors approved a massive data center complex near Gainesville Wednesday after a public hearing that went on for more than 24 hours. A Salvadoran family says they’re living a nightmare after their 10-year-old daughter was allegedly sexually assaulted by a 19-year-old woman who the family says continues to threaten them. The abuse took place in the victim’s home in Alexandria, Virginia. A Maryland man is accused of following a woman from MGM National Harbor to her home in Fairfax County, Virginia, and then assaulting her and trying to break into her home, police say. A former aide to Andrew Cuomo, the former governor of New York, has filed an Adult Survivors Act lawsuit against him, accusing Mr. Cuomo of “continuous sexual harassment” during her employment. The Middletown City Council on Nov. 21 passed a $47.5 million budget for next year, reflecting a $2 million increase from the current year. The budgeted property tax levy, when compared to this year, increases by about $1 million to $23 million, the maximum amount allowed under the state tax cap.
